I actually don’t mind playing support but I would like to play the other two because I main one in each category, the all queue just doesn’t work, it’s a second support queue really. With a cycle like queue you’ll just be put into support, dps, and tank each match while still having a team comp
The feature is not there to randomize roles. The feature is there to reduce queue times across the board. And right now, that is happening by making it a second support queue.
It does not need more dps or tank players. If you want to play those roles, feel free to queue as them.

Honestly I think the feature is kind of pointless in OW2 with support destined to always be the least popular role. I don’t see how that’ll ever change. I think it should actually get you to play all the roles. Maybe you only get the incentive when it rolls support.
The “all roles” queue is a deliberate misnomer. In reality it is a “Fill Queue” incentivized and designed to funnel willing players into the least populated role so the others’ queue times become shorter and viewers on Twitch need to watch less of Gordon Ramsay videos.
