Custom Input Device

So, I use an audio mixer (not Windows built-in) to help me sort out all my audio routing and allow me to do some fancy stuff with my audio (including separating audio to route into my headset’s 2 inputs), recently I changed my audio routing around because I no longer stream and thusly wanted to use the routes occupied for my stream setup for something else. Most notably, I wanted to separate my mic input into two separate streams. One for things like Discord, and another for things like games. This was to pull double duty as I play some games with bugged push to talk (Will bug out and go open mic), and while I wanted to mute my mic for the game, I didn’t want to mute it for Discord or other things.

So, this naturally led to me looking into Overwatch’s settings for the mic input device, to set it correctly. However, this led to my discovery that you can’t set a custom input device in Overwatch 2.

I can’t verify whether or not this was a thing in Overwatch 1 as I never really looked, but the only options that Overwatch 2 gives for the 2 devices is Default, and Comms - I believe this is referring to default device and default communications device in Windows. I double-checked the output device settings, and it displays everything there, but the input device only has those two options.

Is this a bug? Or is this actually intended? And if it’s intended, why? I can’t just go ahead and change my default devices because that’s going to mess with literally everything else on my PC.
