So I was one of those people relying entirely on Pursuit to track my scrim stats. Since there is no in-game way to check progress in custom games (which is all Contenders, OD, tourny and scrim games) we have to use 3rd party programs. All pursuit does is screen cap when you hit TAB and parse the stats you have up out and puts them together as an after-action report. And the path to pro players need something to show our coaches for comments on what to work on because they dont have enough time to go over 20 hrs worth of scrims for 6 different people at the Tier 3 level. If you are serious about mounting this crusade, please please please give us a way to track our scrim stats. Even though it probably wont show you who got killed first every team fight (implying positioning issues) or anything beyond the most basic stats, even that would help a little bit.
Blizzard doesn’t want people to know in-depth stats. Good luck getting them to add some advanced stats that you can see after a match.
It would help alot with their claims of supporting the path to pro scene. Its hard enough on tier 3 coaches who dont get the support they need from their orgs, but taking away one of the like 2 tools they had is really brutal.
Use the website version of visor. Doesn’t need the software or a battlenet link. Just record your gameplay with OBS or nvidia and upload it there.
It gives you the same stats as pursuit plus a teamfight breakdown. You get a match history with vods attached and it’s kinda better for what you said because you can share the match link with anyone.
The last time I tried to use that it took 4.5 hours to upload 1.5 hrs of gameplay. Its not really viable for the amount of scrimming the T3 scene does
