Bug experienced where my cursor was stuck in the middle of my screen outside of any menu and made gameplay very distracting, not unplayable, just very unpleasant

If you use discord, go into your discord user settings > overlay > toggle the switch to disable ingame overlay and this should fix your problem.

happened to me too. the only way i found is to restart the game. it may have been because i tabbed out in the menus, idk. hope they get to this soon too.
Keeps happening in the middle of my matches. I don’t have any overlays installed or Discord installed. The only other running program is Google-Chrome. OW is Borderless Windowed mode.
Have to restart game, no other fixes. Tried switching resolution or changing to windowed/fullscreen/back. Only restart fixes it.
Can’t restart at start of competitive match because it cancels the match and punishes you. So have to finish 1st round then restart, but then it punishes you with Endorsement Level drop.
Either way you are punished for Overwatch Dev bug. Losing endorsement level every day since the endorsement system released because of cursor bug restarts.
Windows 10 Professional newest updates installed. Started for me in mid June.

Have a true fix been found or all I can do is play windowed mode which is distractive and/or disruptive when in a match.
