Hi, recently my game has been having a cursor bug where the cursor appears above the crosshair. When Overwatch just starts it doesn’t appear, but after a few minutes of play it will appear. It also causes my mouse to not sense any movement on and off mid-game. I don’t sense this issue outside of game. Been playing since Dec 2016 but there was no such issue before. Not sure if this is a solo issue or not. However, I read that back in early 2018 people were having this issue too. Appreciate any help. Thank you.
maybe you have pressed some hotkeys like alt-tab during the game? Or you have some notifications in Windows, that are underlying the game but still get the OS focus to themselves so you can see cursor?
Before having the bug i have no problem alt-tabbing in and out of game. I tried not alt tabbing after entering game but still have cursor on top of crosshair. Windows 10 Focus Assist is turn on when i am gaming.
Try go to device manager, find Human Interface Devices and look for your mouse device in it. Right click and select properties and find Power Management, uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
Fixes the issue for me.
