This bug has been a thing for such a long time now and now i reached the point where im not going to play until its fixed. Basicly whenever i tab out of the game while moving around ingame, let it be duo a popup or manually my cursor is stuck in the middle of the screen and i cant move it unless i open taskmanager but then it can only move it the widowframe of taskmanager. Only way to free the mouse is by closing overwatch and i cant do that during a comp game. Trying to make the taskmanager window full screen and then click on the overwatch task just freezed it again resulting me to reopen taskmanager.
Countless occations where i was forced to close the game during comp and was not allowed to go back in either. The bug has been a thing for ages now but now i cant even take a screenshot without pressing esc or closing the game forcefully.

This exact thing has just happened to me twice. Ive been playing for a few months, and this has just recently been happening. So annoying, any fixes that can be done on my end?

This exact bug just happened to me and i was forced to AFK out of a comp match because i could not click on anything since my cursor was stuck in the middle of my screen. Only way for me to get it to move around was to open task manager and close overwatch application.

Two freaking years later and this is still a prevalent issue I deal with on a constant basis. The thing with my game is, my screen randomly goes black sometimes (I have no idea why), the only way to fix is to plug my monitor in/out. But then, the bug you’re talking about occurs. Apparently alt + tab is supposed to fix it but… nothing seems to happen when I try doing that.
