If i play as solo q player I can simply wait even 7 minutes as support player. I dont understand why is that the case as yesterday we played in 5 stack and several times we waited for last support player several minutes.
Can chosen roles in groups be actualy reason why we all are waiting longer for games too?
Lets say i am flex player and i join some frinds and we are in 3,4 or 5 stack. Even when i honestly dont care which role i will play, i am forced to pick one, same as others. Me and my friend will pick dps and support in 4 stack. But we would be ok to play different role too.
Now we go searching for game as tank tank support dps. Not only matchmaker has to find people to match our ranks but it has to be searching exactly for certain role left simply eliminating big pool of players who would be ok with flexing into different role.
Matchmaker found nice duo with perfect sr match for us? Too bad, as they queued as tank support, not dps support. It doesnt matter that tank guy in duo is dps main who picked tank only to have shorter queue times. System cant use them. I can write down many examples as this one and i belive this system is making longer queue time by its poor design.
It has to change, i was glad when they introduced role q system. To be honest i never wanted exact system as we have now. I always wanted to have forced 222 comp in games, not really role who will force you into your role without chance to play anything else in match.
We definitely need better role q system as current one is honestly trash. We cant pick flex roles in groups, there is no benefit in picking less played roles as solo q player as i will wait for dps same amount of time even when i ptobably help created more games as tank player before. I cant even switch role with someone in game, even when we both would want that…
I am sad that blizzard did implemented new comp system but designed it so damn bad.
