Yeah so its CTF comp so its no big deal. I just did my placements. The match making system might as well not exist at this point, so the groups can be pretty sad. Its a wide mix of Different SRs. Theres a 50-50 chance of getting a good group but a losing streak will bring your SR down in a hurry.
Im going to wait until next season to continue.
I think the biggest disappointment to me was it used your normal comp stats so for people like me in gm, we didnāt get a chance to climb or prove or skill. We just got placed in high masters or gm for comp ctf and now thereās not much to do
Meanwhile people on the forums want a rank reset that would literally do the same thing.
The major problem with CTF comp is that itās seeded off your standard comp SR.
Doesnāt really make sense because the game mode has itās own unique rule set and strategies, many of which are never utilized in other game modes. As a result, you end up with people who donāt understand basic CTF strategy or the concept of flag dropping, yet they finish placements in GM.
This mode really fun just hit Diamond yesterday but true 100% lot of players donāt take this serious annoying throwers most of the timeā¦
