The bot’s not a player, so Lucio definitely won’t be able to speed boost it.
I imagine they’ve thought about including flavorful ways to interact with the robot, similar to waving at BOB when he has nothing to shoot at. I don’t really see a good way for that to work, though, because anytime you’re near the robot, you’re automatically making him walk to or push the barricade. That means he’ll always be busy doing something, unless either there’s no one around, or players from both teams are actively engaging nearby.
