I tried it. I have come back to this game after a year and a half. And boy, has it changed. And not in the good way. Play with crossplay on as a console player, your butt is toasted… Play with crossplay off, you can’t find a game. Really good job Blizzard! Nice effing job!! Keep on doing it!! You messed everything else already. Why not this one!

Thats my point. I played the crossplay on, I was handed on a silver plate to PC players… I turned the crossplay off, I can’t find a match. How is that a good thing?

It’s not full crossplay. If you’re on console, you only ger matched with PS, Xbox, and Switch players. You are in the Console pool.
You have to intentionally group with a PC player to access the PC pool and play against PC players.
If you somehow face PC players without grouping with one, please file a bug report or service ticket. Something went wrong.

Same thing with Apex. Crossplay is pretty much the only way you can play.

You’re losing because you haven’t played in a year and a half; you’ve gotten rusty while the rest of the community improved.
You’re not getting matched vs PC players unless you group with a PC players.
Turning crossplay off will ONLY match you versus players on your native console, crossplay on lets you play against other consoles. So obviously the crossplay on pool is significantly larger.

a player responded after game in 10 seconds in a chat… That is impossible when you’re talking in console only chat. The crossplay isn’t working.
That’s only true for competitive. All other modes you can be matched with PC players edit apparently I’m wrong about this

Some people use MnK just to type in chat because they don’t have a mic. (Or, they just really wanna talk trash)

That’s not true.
If you are a console player, playing either by yourself or with other console players, you will not encounter any PC players at all. You will only be put into the PC pool if you queue with a PC player.

If that’s the case, then PS5 players use text chat much more often than Xbox players - and they are very vulgar about it to boot.
I assumed they were PC players.
I had to disable all text chat - the pure vulgar hate spewed there was just unacceptable after cross play started.
So you realize then that your complaints are misguided since you aren’t actually playing against PC players?

You can differentiate console players using MnK and PC players from each other when you look the replay. The “twitch” is really obvious on players using MnK…
Oh, yeah, of course. I am that Leatherface player that always promotes positive face camping and healthy basement play.
No, that’s a very inaccurate way to tell that. Replays can look jerky for tons of reasons, and m&k can look that way on console too.
