Is there any way to avoid crossplay in quickplay on PC?
Everytime I notice a weird one sided stomp I check social and there is just one lone crossplay player on one team.
Nope.
People have been asking for it since crossplay was added.

ive not noticed the stomps being exclusive to crossplay, but i dont like the whole xim/aim assist component that still happens.
right? and how is it that console actually has a way to opt out, but PC doesnt?

most people don’t even know how to check if there is crossplay players in the lobby.
It’s nicely hidden away in social.
It would be nice if the icon showed up under tab.
Do realize that when console players do opt out , their queue times triple so it’s to their advantage to enable cross play. I think it’s how blizzard hides the fact that this game isn’t as popular as they think so this is one feature to make it feel like there are a lot of players.
hmm, maybe that should tell them something 
yeah, just look for the chain link icon <<> or something like that, under the “P” menu. Thats cross play
that may be…but, PC players should at least be given the option, if they want to wait in 20 minute queues, to avoid playing against consoles, that should be their option.
OR…just find a way to make sure xim users dont make it into game lobbies and that might make playing against a console more palatable. For me, it’s not even about if a console player is good or bad…im not great myself, so im not one to judge, but if they have access to mouse and keyboard while still being able to use aim assist…that’s a problem and they should allow PC players who dont want to deal with that, the ability to not have to.
Ya play comp were that’s disabled.
I though that console can only get into a PC lobby if they group with a PC player.
That’s what my friend says whenever I suspect a zimmer.

Yes but you still can’t do anything about to avoid those players while they can chose to get into PC lobbies by grouping with a pc player.
Your friend is correct, the way they get into pc lobbies is by grouping with a pc player. But those are the same lobbies all pc players are in. So console players are now in there with pc, and pc players have no way to opt out of that.
Except that’s true of every game that has crossplay enabled, lol.
Hmm, when you add the HUGE PC player base, your queue times go down? What an amazing concept!
But yeah, that signifies that OW2 is dead (rofl).
