There needs to be progress transfer between different platforms. I enjoy playing Overwatch on Xbox, but I also own the game on PC and have been getting into that more. I understood this lack of transfer back when there was no cross play, but now there is. On top of that, we now play Overwatch with our Battle.net accounts regardless of platform. If I am playing on PC and Xbox under the same battle.net account, there is no reason that my progress should not be merged. I have 7 years of progress on Xbox and should not have to start over because I want to switch up platforms. Overwatch 2 is supposed to be fluid with Overwatch 1 in the sense that characters will be released on both, but I cant play on 2 systems keeping the same progress literally under the same account? If Fortnite can do it (a free to play game), Overwatch has no excuse. Love this game to death, it has been my #1 for years, but this really should implemented. I cannot be the only person that thinks this or has run into the same issue.

Have an possibility that your progress was stored on xbox servers intead of bnet servers. That makes difficulty to merge progress with crossplatform.
