Hello, I’ve recently been having issues with cross-platform communication.
I play on PC. Sometimes when I open the game or when I have the game open, I won’t be able to communicate with any of my console friends. I can’t see their messages and I don’t think they can see mine. Trying to whisper to any of them results in an error message that tells me I can’t whisper to that person because of my “cross-play communication settings”. As far as I’m aware, no such settings exist.
When this happens and I right-click the profiles of any of my console friends, it will say that I have the “mute all text and comms” option ticked. When I try to click it to uncheck it, it doesn’t do it. It remains ticked no matter what I do. This goes away sometimes when I reopen the game but is still a very annoying issue. I’ve been told by a GM that there is no solution and that the bug has already been reported. Would love if people could confirm that this is also happening to them because I haven’t heard anyone else complain about this yet apart from one post I saw about it.
