Crazy Idea: Make comp 2+ stack only?

Pretty much as per the title.

6 stacking is almost a perfect solution to most complaints that come up on this forum: toxicity, harassment. anger at 1 tricks etc just doesn’t happen if you get choose your own team-mates but I understand why it isn’t viable.

Personally I find the game the most enjoyable when I’m queuing up with at least 1 other person.

How many people would find comp ‘unplayable’ if it required you to queue up with a minimum of 2 people? (ie 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 people).

Is it too high a barrier to entry?

Arcade, QP, customs wouldn’t be changed at all.

Better idea would be have separate queues for solo players and stacks
5-stacking? No comp for you, drop a player or recruit another if you want to comp.

This already chokes up top 1% of the population so your theory isn’t that well thought out

Have you never had a vaguely competent team mate in the past that may be willing to team up?

The more queues there are, the longer it will take to find a match, and some people already have issues with this.

You are suggesting people would leave the game rather than queue up with a friend or someone they have had a few wins with in the past?

most people in GM just solo queue lol and the pop is so low that forcing at least a duo queue is choking people that just don’t queue up with others.

My friends are hardly online. With how toxic players are I’d rather not queue up with randoms.
