This is my first post here since I have never had too many issues with Overwatch throughout the 5 years of playing. Recently, I just built a pc with the intel arc a770 gpu and intel i7 11700k 3.6ghz cpu and the game randomly crashes after playing for a bit, saying something about display drive being lost. I read up that Overwatch doesn’t have the latest drivers for the arc a770, which would explain the crashes as well as why the gpu temp doesn’t show up in the in-game overlay. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue so that I can play without the fear of disconnecting from comp and losing sr? It’s just frustrating because I built this pc so that I could stop crashing and having problems, but it turns out to be the opposite. If for some reason these gpus still aren’t supported, blizzard PLEASE fix it. I can’t reliably use my computer for the main purpose I made it. Thanks ![]()
This card didn’t make it on the supported video card list. If you got it working, you’re lucky, but it’s unlikely Blizzard will make any special drivers for it.
Is there any way to prevent the crashes? As in, would decreasing the fps and/or graphics help so that I don’t get the ‘rendering device lost’ crashes? Or is there no way to prevent those kinds of crashes? Thanks
Unfortunately, there’s no way for me to know those answers since it’s not officially supported.
