Just installed 4090 and can’t get past launch on the game. Booted in safe mode ran display driver removal tool and did a clean install on the latest drivers directly through GeForce. Same issue.
Reinstalled the game and launcher -Fail

Put back on old video card (3080) - Fail
Fully updated windows - Fail
Tried XMP profiles - Fail
Lowered RAM speeds - Fail
I can play other games and can run 3D Mark Time Spy with zero issues. I actually can’t comprehend the issue.
What’s in the error logs of the DxDiag and MSInfo? If nothing, then you could ask someone on the Microsoft forum to read the memory dump files.
The only video game on my PC that refuses to load is Overwatch. Its an overwatch error code.
Always cool after hours of changing my powercords and PCI slots and RAM sticks and fresh install of windows the solution for some magically reason was to downclock my processor let the game open then turn off the PC and turn my processor back up to the SAME overclock it was prior and now it works.
Yep… downclocking to first time launch the game then overclocking EXACTLY where it was before worked. In what world?
