I keep forgetting which tank counters doomfist. I remember some dps and supports counters, but which tank counters him again?
I am not tank player, but I relised, that Orisa is kinda good - fortify to stop him from tossing me around and I use javelin to hit him every time I can in the middle of their jumps, lol. That usualy make them switch xD

Fortify means you cant be punched around.
Oh doomfist is charging a punch? throw a jav at him and laugh. She’s basically a hard counter.

Orisa messes his world up. Biggest counter to Doom IMO.
Javelin displaces his movement and can easily javelin him while he is blocking. Javelin can be saved to peel for teammates too.
You can also severely displace him with Javelin Spin.
You are immune to his punches by fortifying.
I would say Roadhog also can displace doom constantly by hooking him and saving hooking for peeling the back line and can survive just about anything doom throws at him.
Obscure but a very good Zarya can counter him too by correctly timing bubbles and melt his life away at full charge.

What I usually tell my team to do is to never shoot the Doom when he’s guarding. He absolutely does no damage and healers can heal each other (they’ll never die) and waste Doom’s abilities. It’s basically ignoring him that he’s not a strong tank but only has mobility. Mercy can even just fly over his punches. The Doom should be forced to swap to counter your tank.

Every tank counters doomfist.
He has to outplay people more than any other character, one of the reasons he is so fun.
He is not a counter to any tank either.

It’s Orisa, Hog, and Zarya that make his life the hardest. Zarya and Hog just aren’t in the best spot right now though so your best bet is Orisa
