i see this all the time with ana because she has counters she shouldn’t have purple nerfed. but with that logic and hero with a counter should have every nerf reverted because you can just play their counter
With Mei being nerfed into the ground for “It’s unfun to play against”, I don’t see how that doesn’t get applied to Genji’s blade and Ana’s sleep dart/anti-nade.
HAHAHA you made me lol with this one, Mei is incredibly annoying to play against, she was not nerfed into the ground. Her slow is ridiculous. I didn’t used to mind Mei mains, but now I can’t stand em, and wish I could leave every game where she is picked, by either team.
Exactly. If the answer to a hero is “just swap or lose” then that’s a problem in itself. It’s like the people who say “just run 2 hitscan, zen and dva to counter Pharmercy!” and somehow don’t see the problem in saying that.
Soft countering and swapping to further synergize your comp or to have an edge over the enemy = healthy
Every part of Mei’s kit was nerfed except for her right click. Her ult costs more. Her primary doesn’t freeze. Her wall has less HP and can’t be placed as far away. I think her ice block has a longer cooldown? (admittedly I don’t remember what changed on that one) But to say she wasn’t hard nerfed is just dishonest.
This, Someone should be able to play any hero into another, yes some may be better or worse in certain match ups, but having a hero where your hard countered and forced to switch isnt healthy for the game.
A good Mei is OP, her slow especially, and how quickly they can achieve their ult is ridiculous. Her wall? I don’t know about that as I never play her, except for mystery heroes. Her primary is a pain in the you know what, and her secondary, when placed well can be one or 2 shot kills. (But as I said this applies to A GOOD Mei).
Not an “automatic” win, but affords WAY too much value for WAY too little input. Trust me, I am no stranger to beating my counters but the amount I have to sweat while they just press free-win buttons is absurd.
Because it’s a different game? Lol. Not only Magnus Carlsen plays chess, I used to like this game a lot when I was a kid. And even if I enjoyed winning and I was playing some tournaments I never was a hardcore grinder studying it.
