I got disconnected from a comp game and got suspended for 15 minutes very annoying i wanted back in…

It’s not, à server side disconnect should not be punished. It happens all the time and they suspend cause they can’t fix it.
Overall very sloppy design.

unless the rest of team got disconnected at same time , i’m afraid the issue is your end not the server …
- sometimes matchmaker connects you to server from wrong region
- you can reconnect when you are disconnected because of bad connection on your side… unless its p.1 or your lobby crushed
As long as it is not at the start you can reconnect. You need to go back to the main menu where it will let you rejoin.
If the issue was on your end then you would be able to rejoin the game. Sometimes the menu bugs out and suspends you without allowing you to rejoin at all. I have never had issues rejoining due to a power failure or internet issues. I have only ever had issues rejoining when server just kicks me for no reason and issues an immediate suspension instead of allowing me to rejoin. And this is mid game, not at the beginning.

not if the game ended before you rejoined , or you took too long to rejoin ,you only have 2 mins ? i think to rejoin a match ,
15 min suspension isnt for first time leavers in comp , you have left / disconnected / crashed a couple of times , these will not all be blizz server issues , 15min suspension is at least 3 matches you have left ,
sort your connection / stop leaving matches
ive never had a suspension of any time for disconnects as i have rejoined matches within a min or two max .
Nope I have been kicked from the server, logged back in within the 2 mins and still can’t join even though it was only half way through the match, I am suspended and there is no rejoin option.
I have also had the same experience with there being no rejoin option but I can still queue right away with no suspension even though I “left” a comp game.
I know how the systemis supposed to work. It’s just inconsistent.
15 Min suspension is for 1 leave.
I have only been disconnected from competitive twice and I have played since OW1. Both were in OW2.
One, I got the “applying update” error and never got into a game.
The 2nd time, (which was a different season) I got DCed randomly in a match. I tried to rejoin. Got DCed again. Rejoined. DCed. Game crashed and I could not rejoin after restarting the game. Got a 15 minute suspension both times.
Neither one was my internet. It seems you can get a 15 minute suspension even if it is your first time.
well even if you rejoined then won, devs still give you an insta loss. why? because oppressive coding doesn’t apply them. this would also partly explain, in some cases, why players don’t rank up even after winning 5 matches. hamster wheel.
