ranked - i just got into the game and wanted to choose a hero when it wouldn’t let me choose anyone… the game then banned me for inaktivity when i litarally couldn’t do anything at all! Please fix that… i lost my sr because of that bug…

I have had the same issue a couple weeks ago when loading into a comp game and for me atleast it turned out it was a discord overlay problem where I accidently clicked my overlay button but the overlay itself not showing up while playing overwatch.

That sounds fairly normal.
Overwatch does not support any overlay if i’m correct.
You can read more about that in this Article.
Usually the overlay turns invisible if you enable the overlay and then tab out of the game.
This can be fixed by:
- Closing the overlay application
- Pressing the key to toggle the overlay
Now this is not the only thing that causes the overlay to turn invisible, so it’s recommended to not use any overlays whilst ingame.

The easiest way to realize if the overlay is frozen and you’re not actually with your mouse on OW is the pointer. The mouse pointer becomes the Windows one when in overlay mode and goes back to OW’s when it’s not selected.
