I’ve found that my win rate with Lucio is phenomenal and I tend to out heal the other healers on my team, even so called “main healers”. I’ve thought that maybe this is my ticket out of bronze, but I’m wondering if I should be focusing elsewhere. I don’t necessarily medal in anything other than healing, at least not silver or bronze, so I’m thinking it’s better to contribute across the board, or at least more than just healing, in order to consistently win more. On the flip side I have been improving my KdA and also get a decent number of eliminations and damage is increasing as well.
Yeah you can, and you can carry as all of them.
But I’d say this order is best,
- Zen
- Brigitte
- Ana and Moira
- Lucio
- She who shall not be named
I’d say Lucio will have a harder time than the 3 above him.
Zenyatta and Ana take a lot of skill to be able to carry with. Lucio can also carry but again needs a fair amount of mechanical skill and he could be vulnerable to buffs to a certain other healer.
You just gotta do 2 things. These will get you very far. Once you get to masters it helps to become a good communicator to continue progressing usually

Yes. If you perform above average and make smart plays. It is super easy to carry as support.
Your dps and tank players may Be inconsistent and make a lot of mistakes. But as a support, you have the tools to bail them out allowing them more opportunities to make a good play. Your genji may miss the first five shots, but because you kept him alive long enough, the sixth connects and you win the fight.
Supports have a lot of tools to control the flow of battle by correctly healing the appropriate targets at the right time.

I’m taking a break. Too many smurfs in bronze right now with all the sales that have been going. You get matched with one every other match it seems, either on your team or the other. Not fun.
It boils down to mechanics and getting better understanding of who to pocket when.
It’s easy to look in front of you and see someone directly in front of you that needs healing but it’s harder to see that your Genji is in prime position behind them so you pocket them as they go in.
Sometimes sacrifices will need to be made in order for your team to win the team fight. It’s impossible to save everyone, it’s possible to save the correct person that can help win the fight.
Yes. Some better than others. Depends on your elo. Also climbing from low elo will be harder and take longer because you’ll be relying on you’re teammates’ positioning to position yourself… which is always a toss up.
I’d rank them like this:
- Zen (discord is OP, requires good aim tho)
- Brig (broken, unkillable, high impact, low risk high reward)
- Moira (flexible, survivable, high impact)
- Ana (most powerful healer kit but huge skill cap & easily punished, high risk high reward)
- Lucio (works really well with cooperative teams, great for aggressive teammates)
- Mercy (rez is all she brings to the table now… literally)
you can carry with anything. I fill moira and do more than fine.
yes… and no. it is REALLY hard to carry. does not matter what role. you could say that you carried the heals. but the whole teams is really hard not saying you can’t do it but… probably Brigitte if you play her right. she is really powerful in the lower ranks and can put out really good heals if you do it right. next would be zen/moira then frog/ana. you can not carry with mercy unless you are doing dps with her… but with the nerfs to her heals you will not out dps the dps and out heal the heals. so like 0.01% chance for you to carry with mercy… if you are top 500 in bronze xD not even sure if you can out dps good dps with her… 
Mercy is ranked last. Then why so much hate for her?
She’s trash but rez on cooldown is op 
The vast majority of people who play Mercy are trash.
I play a lot of Pharah and the majority of Mercy’s just run into my rockets the whole game.
But every once in a while (maybe 1 in 25 games) there is a Mercy god.
- Who bounces off one of her team (or friendly Pharah)
- Comes out from behind high cover using Angelic Descent (not her ult)
- With her pistol out and lands every god dam head shot…
- And she does this between healing and damage boosting (she’s not 100% battle mercy).
The 5:6 rule applies, so its a pleasure when they are on my team and a god dam nightmare when they are on the other team.
But for the other 24/25 Mercy players, I just want them on the other team so I have some target practice.
