Could the skins be in shop a little bit longer?

Man, I really want those sakura skins but I’m poor af rn, I don’t have any extra money until friday, and tomorrow they are gone. Just spotted them on this weekend, same thing happened with the kiriko’s sakura skin, haven’t seen it in shop since and have been unlucky with the lootboxes. Could the rotation be mby, 1-2 weeks until the old skins go out, so more people get a chance to get them?

Imho you ought to be able to get those skins by just playing the game, frankly. But if the shop is some kind of necessary evil that just has to exist (it isn’t, and doesn’t, but hypothetically-), the items in it should just always be available. There literally is no other reason to do those weekly rotations in the shop, other than to generate fomo. It’s scummy as hell.

That would be even better! Remember when in ow1 we could buy skins everytime we wanted? (Except the seasonal skins and some exceptions) bring it back

I know, those shop timelimits are really annoying. Maybe take a small payday loan? Maybe pawn something?

There will be better skins knowing blizzard with mercy, just earn it in a future lootbox. Your not missing out on much.

See if a friend or family member will loan you the money first and you can pay them back when you get paid? I used to do that for my bf.

I tried that but they couldn’t loan me money. Luckily I just checked the shop and they are still 6 days available

You got some extra time! Maybe find a quick side hustle like doing yard work or selling ice cold lemonade :sunglasses:

Good news! I finally got kiriko’s sakura skin at lookbox and oh god those pixels make me happy :heart:

I’m happy to let others pay for my gameplay content. If that means skins that are too expensive, I’ll just use the other 1,000 skins I already have. Thanks, whales!

Thing is that it isn’t just ‘whales’ buying the skins. I take great issue with Blizzard generating artificial fomo to coerce people into paying unreasonable amounts of money for in-game cosmetics. It’s really gross imo.

I don’t love it since there are skins I skip this way, but I can’t argue that it doesn’t make them more money to do it the way they currently do.

I think all Skins should be left in shop all the time, if you want a little fomo have a 6th month time table to access
