:Fish: Could Sym 2.0 work as a new Tank hero instead (not as a rework)

Sym currently can stay the way she is, but she been completely new hero since.

We then like a future hero to have some of her old abilities but used differently… like for a Tank Role.

Aka Autolock Beam, Piecing Orb and Floating Summonable Barrier.

These could all be parts used for a future Support Tank… just saying.

Lot of people miss those 2.0 features

While if it’s not Moe, was thinking a huge Mech being able to do these abilities.

We just have to think of a new Ult and Passive plus a secondary ability; that could work with these.

Imagine if Overlord had these, his secondary ability was “Drones”, his Passive was “Float” and his Ult… something with the drones I imagine.

i dont see a mech doing any of these abilities…and the “drones” arent mech specific, it feels like something a builder would have,

It’s sad some will never understand. Hard to understand if D. Va was completely reworked to a completely new kit.

How much you will miss that old kit.

I dont care if they add lock on back. I just dont want it on Sym. She doesnt need lock on for people who cant aim or miss the feeling of it.

Not a horrible idea, but it needs to do much less damage than Symmetra’s previous primary and mainly because that new hero would be a tank.

I’m certain the moving shield will show up in a future hero, you see, when it comes to barriers, there’s hardly a few ways you can implement them and currently we have exhausted the most basic ones, the automatically moving barrier remains the 4th type of basic barrier yet to be implemented back so… yes, we will most definitely see it come back at some point

Also the video is just proof that the lock on was super broken lol

I really miss the shield, I’d give up the teleporter for the shield any day. Teleporter is useless now.
