I have the Xbox series X and anytime my controller that I have wired disconnects and reconnects Overwatch never seems to be able to detect it. I can bring up the Xbox menu I can change games etc etc so clearly the Xbox registered the controller but Overwatch doesn’t for some reason. I can hear the game audio and everything but the message to connect a controller doesn’t go away and I can’t move anything on Overwatch. I have to force quit the game and reopen it for it to work again
Yea, I have the exact same issue. It seems like it’s been an issue on the Series X|S since launch, but Blizzard doesn’t seem to be investing any resources in fixing such a game ruining bug.
