Controller Movement

Hey is it allowed to use Analog movement since I got this device and I know it’s not allowed in some games but is it allowed in overwatch since it gives me an advantage and more control but it’s still something you have to learn.

I use an xbox controller to play on PC. I know it’s allowed because game supports the in put method and my controller has no extra third party warez.

If the input device you plan on using has custom scripts or something you’re exposing yourself to a liability.

No, the stick gets registered as a ps4 controller but I’m using my keyboard for abilities and my mouse to aim is that still allowed? since there is no setting to ignore controller input and lock the input on the mouse, like in some games

Not sure, but I want to point out that Overwatch on PC does not have aim assist for controllers. Fortnite locks your input to one or the other because touchscreens and controllers get aim assist and KBM does not.

I can confirm that you can use a controller with no issues on PC. I’ve used one many times

I used to use a controller in one hand and my mouse in the other hand. Aim with the mouse and move with the controller.

I don’t use that setup anymore, but it was quite fun for a bit.

In fortnite the autoaim is extremely strong so playing on controller is actually better than mouse and keyboard but in OW the autoaim is very light so it’s not the case.
