I have finally deranked (unintentionally) on support which was my strongest role. Over the last year I have been holding pretty steady at my rank but this season I cannot win.
I don’t like to make excuses. I hate it when other people do it, and I hate it when they blame other people.
But something feels off. Every game is either just completely lopsided for unknown reasons, or you have the leaver/thrower/smurf/deranker experience. I have been noticing that I am getting rewarded less for my wins despite still doing as good or better than I ever have.
It really doesn’t make sense to me how in around 6 hours this weekend I have lost over 400 SR. I really hate the aspect of quitting this game, but something really has to change. Sorry just have to rant.

Enjoy the game and stop caring about stupid number that dont mean anything.When I started playing my first rank was silver around 1700sr before 2-2-2 season 11 i think.I tried next season to hit gold and I think i did it in season 12 or 13 and I was like yayyay but nah its just meh number.Important thing is to enjoy comp games and have fun.
I’ve stopped playing Competitive for a number of seasons, for the same reason. I did fairly well in my matches and always have things to work on.
But when SOMEONE constantly bails in a match, GOES cliff diving or refuses to MOVE during a match. While the REST of us are trying, and we ARE penalized for THEIR actions. and ESPECIALLY new accounts that are SOMEHOW ALLOWED to Q into Competitive mode? I go and…
I look at the feedlot down the road, and the stuff sitting on the ground that SMELLS awful and I think of the pile. I CANNOT tell the difference between the SR awarding plus the match making system and that SMELLY, awful pile that was just consumed by a COW, hours earlier and I cannot truly decide “is there a difference between the two?”

Game is disbalanced due to lack of players.
Remember how servers crashed recently?
The login queue line was only 4000 players with couple minutes wait time. Not even close to what it used to be.

It’s not just the number that I care about, it’s playing well consistently and still losing over and over and over again.
It could just be really bad luck. Hopefully you can regain the SR.
