I have seen tons of videos and articles about this matter:
Should I keep vertical sensitivity lower than horizontal sensitivity or should I keep them the same?
These are popular theories:
- Keep them at the same value to build muscle memory
- Keep them at the same value to reach jumping Winston and Pharah faster
- Keep them different because you need to travel less space vertically
- Keep them different at 0.67 (so for example 60h 40v) as in Call of Duty
Which of them are true and what do you use/suggest?
My current settings are: 60h, 40v, 100 aa strength, 30 aa window, 0 smooth, 30 aim ease in, linear ramp.
Thanks.

It’s not exactly what you’re asking about, but I had been using linear ramp with 25 ease in for a long time. Just switched to exponential with 0 lead in and my aim has increased a ton. If you’re having aiming troubles, try that out. Also maybe lower the window size. Mine is just at 3 so it slows at the head instead of before it.
I use the same horizontal/vertical. I used to have them different, but I found I wanted to look up quickly and was getting frustrated it wasn’t as fast. It’s probably all about personal preference. No single right answer.
My specs: 100/100, 100 strength, 3 window, 0 smoothing, 0 ease in, exponential.

i only keep them the same for zarya (and i think winston as well) vertical is better to be lower, because if you’ve already lined up a headshot it’s better for your vertical to move less than your horizontal.

I think exponential ramp is the same as linear with 50 ease in, isn’t it?
How did you train to get 100/100 with snipers and mccree? For me is too fast
