Why is it that when I play with my pc friends the pc pool seems like there’s more IQ play there but as soon as I go into my own console pool I get stuck with the trashiest of teammates and get beamed the whole game? Idk why they haven’t added cross play for comp but it’s def something to think about
Prolly controller aim has a little impact and prolly more kids play console cause PC’s can be expensive vs a console… Prolly many factors when i played Battlefield games if i wanted a leisure time where i can feel like Keanu reaves in matrix dodging bullets i would load up console
Iirc, you have separate mmr for console and pc.
Yeah, console players altogether are a larger and less dedicated market, which means even despite gameplay, you’re going to see a much lower concentration of intelligent play.
That aside, yeah, hardware differences really inhibit reflexes, aim, and even seeing things in the distance. Back in my console days - when CRT TVs were still the most common - you could be about 30 feet from another player and not even know because the screen was too small and/or the resolution too low. While the resolution issue isn’t as prominent with TVs today, the distance from the display does actually play a part as well.
Cross that with how many people are playing in that pseudo-handicapped state, it’s going to feel like even basic PC decisions and play are genius by contrast.
Because high rank console play is warped by Xim. It’s lobbies full of cheaters. And in typical cheater fashion, it’s all aim no brain.
Let’s just say that most console players prefer playing on console because you just need to plug it in. That’s about the amount of effort any given teammate is going to put forth as well.
Did you know that console has a larger playerbase in Overwatch Dos relative to Overwatch Uno. Can you spot the difference and discern the implication I am putting forth so that I do not need to eat a suspension to point it out? That’s right! You got it (probably)!
