Console Mercy buttons

Is there a way to remap Angelic Descent so it’s not the same button as Ressurect? For now they’re both on the L2 button, it works great for Angelic Descent but sometimes (rarely) when I’m falling down, I trigger the Ressurect and it kinda surprises me? So if any of you has found a way, please share!

Check in your options menu for hero customization. You can make it whatever buttons you want. Toggle on or off. Etc.

I play Mercy in Diamond on PS4. Here are my settings.

R1- Damage Boost
R2- Healing
R3- Crouch (not toggle crouch)
L1- Guardian Angel
L2- Jump/Angelic Descent
L3- Ressurect
Circle- Melee
X- Interact
Weapon Swap and Reload are standard

This button combo lets me use the Mercy Super Jump effectively and Angelic Descent effectively so I get to use all her mobility.

no, but you can do what I did and switch the jump and rez button so no accidental rez and once you get used to it being there I personally feel its better

That’s what I did, but now it feels so weird! Bunny hop without using the (X) button, it’s going to take me some tine to get used to it!!

How long did it take you to get used to jump on L2? Between hundreds of hours already spent on this game plus thousands of hours on others with X being jump,I couldn’t get used to it.

I learned early on that Angelic Descent was really hard to use on X so I’ve pretty much always had it on L2 so I can multi-task while flying with Pharah or using Super Jump (which is probably the most OP mobility in the game once you invest the time into mastering it)

Look up videos on how to use Super Jump and rebind your buttons to make sure you can perform it (you need to press three buttons at the same time). Then go into quick play for maybe 3-5 hours trying to get fluid with it. It’s basically like Pharah’s jump jets and propels you straight up into the air

oh trust me it took a bit to get used to myself, I definitely died a lot at first so I suggest getting used to it in quick play, but once you got it down, I find its easy to transfer the keybinding to other characters mainly those that regularly use the jump button in their kits, for instance on lucio I’ve gotten much better at wallriding after transferring the button to there

I know about the super jump, i just don’t think i could get used to having jump on a different button.

Fair enough. But that’ll probably mean you’ll have to rebind the healing and damage boost buttons to L2 and L1 so you can multitask better.

The key is not having the buttons you want to press at the same time on the same hand competing for the same finger.

Since X is using your right hand. You’ll want your other commonly used buttons on your left. Try it.

Just change the button for Mercy’s Alt Fire and you’re good.
