Honestly, the biggest change I noticed coming from Console to PC is that everything in the game is easier.
My PC has better fps, the mouse and keyboard setup feels more fluid and less crowded than a controller, the features of text chat and whispers make grouping up and commicating with friends way easier, also PC gets PTR and all the balancing is tailored towards PC players.
Console feels like the clunky hard-mode of Overwatch. Don’t act like Console players lack skill, they have to put up with a lot more than PC players do.

Who even said console is easier than PC in the first place?
Never heard of that before.

you know you could’ve just easily titled this “let’s fight about pc vs console”

Before a year maybe people were saying "diamond on console is like bronze on PC " or things like that.

I play Moira too. I’m just starting to learn PC. I’ve been playing mouse and keyboard for like less than two weeks. Eventually, I’ll expand my hero pool to what it is on console, but it’s a work in progress.

If anything, aiming is harder due to the joysticks. Sure there is aim Assist, but that does not make you auto aim.
There is a reason why Pharah is a problem in consoles.

Only aspect of console that can be said to be easier is the aim assist in place because of the fact that aiming with a controller is so much harder than aiming with a mouse. But even with that assistance console aiming is still not as accurate as with a mouse.

Console was never “easier” than PC… you’re severely misinterpreting the notion. Players are expected to be less effective on console because the input is more difficult, not less.
Also, yes, if you’re going from things like Sombra and Ana to Brigitte and Moira, everything’s going to be a lot easier for you regardless of platform.

It’s much to do about little. If you check the aim stats and everything else on the platforms, they’re almost all identical with slight variations for Ana, Widow, and McCree at grandmaster (2% of player base).

Just look like different platforms to me. Pc gameplay looks much faster due to how much better kb/m is for fps games, being able to turn around and have quicker target acquisition. Wouldnt really call one easier than the other, might feel better to aim since you have more control compared to a controller, but so do all the people youre playing against.

Agreed, just saying everything is easier while playing arguable the 3 heroes with the least amount of aim required (mercy, brig, moira) kinda seems misleading.
Consoles will always feel more clunky than PC but that doesn’t make them harder.
I’ve never heard anyone say it’s easier?
If anything I hear people complaining because of people using M&KB on console making it even harder on ladder.
Plus, you’re used to M&KB and your PC. If you were to take a console player who is strictly console, doesn’t have any experience with PC gaming I’m sure they’ll struggle just as much.

I’ve played thousands of hours on Xbox and I’ve been top 500 many seasons. I also have played a decent amount on PC too and I think that there are restrictions on consoles that put a cap on how skilled you can really get.
One of the biggest things for me is that there’s a turn speed cap. My most played hero is Tracer and I play her on a really high sensitivity, but you can only turn as fast as you can go with your analog stick pushed as far as it will go. Like on PC if you play on a high sensitivity you can flick your mouse and turn around instantly.
Also playing with a controller doesn’t let you make fine adjustments as easily as you could if you were using a mouse. Of course you can turn down your sensitivity but then that also lowers how fast you’ll be able to 180 and stuff. Because of this on console the game rewards flicking a lot more than on PC. Like tracking movement is a lot harder so a lot of widow and hanzo players just flick and fire mid flick and pretty much as long as your flick crosses their head at any point it will give you a headshot.
People also think that aim assist is overpowered and makes the game super easy. I think a lot of PC players think that aim assist works like a weaker aimbot on PC. Aim assist doesn’t help you find targets that much it just slows down your speed while you’re tracking a target so it’s easier. A lot of the time aim assist messes up your shots by pulling you toward something you’re not trying to shoot at. It also makes doing 180s take even longer because if someone is directly behind you and u start turning aim assist will slow you down every time your reticle passes over an enemy. I have to play with aim assist widow size very low and the strength at like half.

True. Interestingly, last I checked about a month ago, Widow has the highest scoped accuracy of any platform on Xbox. PC and PS4 were the same. Her win percentage was higher on PS4 than PC, too. Like you said, though, not different enough that it’s worth talking about. Stats go against the “console is easy mode” narrative I see so often on here.

No one said it was easier, just that mouse is a more accurate tool than a controller. If anything people say it will be hard to adjust to using the mouse, which I think is absolute fact.
It’s a double edged sword, sometimes it’s great but for the most part it’s super annoying to be focusing on a player and have your reticle slowly move away from them and towards someone else.

As someone who plays both, there are pros and cons to both PC and console. True, pointing and clicking is easier with a mouse than a control stick. I think something console players take for granted, though, is how much of a mobility boost a controller gives you. You get full range of motion with a stick rather than being restricted to 45-degree angles with four keys. Flying, especially, is much more fluid with a controller. Pharah and Mercy feel way better with a controller. Abilities also flow much more easily. Keyboards do make jumping easier, though, and enable more practical ADAD spam. I like both for different reasons.
