Console Insane Queue Time

A bit of info: I play on Eu and finished last season at 4006

So, ever since season 17 started I’ve had extremely insane queue times, minimum 1 hour!! Has anyone else experienced this on console? I still have not finished my placements since first I warm up and then when I want to get in a comp game I just end up waiting for several hours. I only managed to play one freaking game today!! This stuff didn’t happen last season to me at all. I’m wondering if it has something to do with the fact I’m in placements maybe? But I’m not sure. These are also my first ever placements in GM level so I’m not sure if this is what usually happens. No one has ever complained about it in voice chat either so maybe it’s just me??

Ive heard guys who are 3500+ say it takes an hour to queue

Thats why everyone has multiple alts

I was in masters for a lot of last season and didn’t have that issue tho

there should be a maximum queue time that they publish, like 30 or 20 minutes maybe?

the way it would work is by allowing you to queue up with people of any rank, like after you wait in queue for 15 minutes, it just starts matching you up with anyone it can, even if the next highest guy in queue is more than 1000sr below you

This could just easily be abused and people would complain when it doesn’t work in their favor.
