Hello Blizzard Team,
With the launch of Overwatch 2 Season 18, it’s fantastic that console players now have the option to play in the PC pool. However, console players still lack the ability to adjust the first-person FOV, which significantly affects gameplay. It’s particularly difficult to track heroes like Genji jumping above, as well as flying characters, leading to frequent deaths and losses — not only impacting console players’ ratings but also affecting PC players in mixed matches.
Some have suggested that consoles couldn’t handle a wider FOV beyond the current limit of 80. However, even older consoles like PS4 and Xbox One could handle larger FOV during shields from Reinhardt and Brigitte without issues. Modern consoles such as Xbox Series X and PS5 easily manage larger FOV in other games. Currently, Overwatch on console does allow FOV adjustments in third-person view, such as in Stadium mode, but it seems odd that first-person FOV adjustment is still unavailable.
We’d greatly appreciate it if Blizzard could consider adding a first-person FOV slider for console players, especially now that cross-play with PC is enabled. This would improve competitive fairness and overall gameplay experience for everyone.
Thank you for your attention!

good stay out of crossplay we find you annoying - P.C players who can’t opt out of having you guys in our casual games.
I’m carrying in the pc lobbies
“Crossplay Unplayable” is a bit overexaggerated imo
I am still surprised that this is still not implemented yet

Maybe it’s not possible to implement on new gen consoles if it doesn’t work on old gen?
