Last night I hopped on Xbox and started my comp sessions, had a great time, went 5-1 after work… it was a good day!
During some matches, I noticed a player on our team (random) was removed, and it started a scrim timer in a ranked match. I know they said this might be something you experience if a cheater is being removed. I had another few games with people being removed and it made me wonder…
Are these all cheaters or normal disconnects?
I’ve heard people claim that there is an aimbot on Console and I didn’t believe, I actually spent sometime try to investigate if that was true or not but couldn’t find anything for Xbox One, just old Xbox 360 injections people were able to do.
TLDR;
Here’s my question, what types of cheating was happening on Xbox (Console) that we didn’t know about? Was there really aimbots? Something else? Cause, games felt really good last night. Better than I am used to.

No, that update roll out when ever it comes if it hasnt already ben applied will Close Down the MAtch Lobby and boot everyone to the main menu with awindow prompt saying something along the lines of “The lobby has been force closed due to a cheater in the match. Everyone will not lose any Progress and all SR will not be affected”. Those are not the exact words, but that is how you will know if a cheater is in your match AND it only prompts those actions if they are using Cheats which are code thats injected into the game and manipulated files. It wont detect screen / pixel hacks; not even sure of those particular hacks exist on console. Im sure there is some variants out there.
The disconnects are USUALLY the authentication and login servers creating hiccups with random clients kicking them out of the game. 90% of the time its that. 10% its bad connections. Yes the game kicks people out randomly and everyone freaks out because they think its a rage quitter.

Got it, thanks for the input. I did notice a change when someone disconnects into the game so made me wonder if it was already applied. I didn’t see a cheat message but good to know it will show.
