Console and OWL tokens

So I’m hearing people left and right say you get OWL tokens from Watching OWL matches. I’ve been watching almost every single first match on Twitch live and the rest the day after. I personally haven’t gotten a single token yet and yes, My twitch and PS4 and Blizzard account are linked together.

So is this a PC only offer basically or do other console players actually get their tokens and it’s just me?
I don’t know how many tokens it would get me but I’ve watched in the very least the first match every night since Stage 1, Week 1. As a european, wathcing all of them is kind of a problem, at least live, and as a student, I can’t just let my TV on all night just to get a few tokens (which I don’t seem to get anyway)

Have you connected your BattleNet on console? After that connect your BN to your Twitch account. That’s how you do it.

Maybe he’s in an unsupported country.

I’m in the U.S. I was getting tokens the first few weeks. I make sure I’m logged in – but I got only ONE token from watching probably 12 maps last week.

So my OW console is connected to my Battlenet, which is connected to my PSN, ehich is connected to my Twitch. And my battlenet is connected to my twitch. Am i missing another linking?

And I’m from western europe. Right now I reside in spain. But then again I also can’t watch adds to get bits… maybe it’s rights I don’t know. But if it’s 1 coin per OWL day considering a skin costs a 100, I guess i’m not missing out on much. Wow that’s pretty cheap from them actually…

I get a token for every round watched… fairly quick too. I’m on PS4 and in the US.I get them on my PC account also.

I get tokens every round, I’ve also been lucky to win a couple 100 bonuses. I’m on xbox.

It works, there is a slight delay sometimes… and I haven’t tested exactly where the cutoff is for getting credit.

My guess is at the end of the commercial right after the round. But so far that is just my educated guess as to the purpose of them rewarding and encouraging us to watch… to keep advertising revenue up.

I got almost none this past week, which sucks as I’m trying to unlock more LA Gladiators skins.

Just to clarify, you’ve linked your Battle(dot)net account to your PSN account, AND you’ve logged into Twitch(dot)tv and linked your Twitch account to your Battle(dot)net account? This is all I did and I receive 1 coin after each map and I have received 100 coins three times at the conclusion of the match on the final map.

I’ve gotten a token each match i’ve watched. Works fine for me on Xbox

Yes I did exactly that. As a matter of fact, every time when I watch on my PC, teitch sends me notifications saying that I got some kind of rewards. First time I got the sprays and playericons of the teams, but since then it tells me I’m getting stuff but I don’t get anything…

I personally have gotten mine from watching the owl games and I play on ps4

I’m pretty sure the sprays and player icons were pre-loaded when everyone got the OWL update. Have you clicked on the Overwatch League line in the main menu and then looked on the right side of the screen to see how many (if any) tokens you have? Tokens have only dropped since Stage 2.

Yepp… still at 200, didn’t get a single additional one

I play on both, and I have been getting points on both. Weird though as on PC I have enough for another skin, but not on console. You do have to have your account connected as others have mentioned as well.

I thought everyone only got 100 to start? When you watch the stream on your computer do participate in chat or just let your pc run? Twitch can mark you inactive if you aren’t clicking or typing occasionally, even if you’re just sitting and watching. I downloaded coffee(dot)exe to keep my computer active and that always works for me.

as a console player i should have more… though i think thats my fault. To be honest yeah it took a while to get the Tokens to flowing to me but they started flowing to me i have 160 now

I signed up for viewership rewards on the official OWL website and have watched many matches since. I also signed up for the newsletter. No tokens. Xbox player, I have my battle net and Live accounts linked.

Whens the last time you watched?

Yeah I don’t think it’s supported in Western Europe for the tokens. Also it’s one token per map watched.
