Console aim update issues

The new update brought nice new options, but no matter how I tinker with them, the aiming feels broken compared to before the update. Horizontal sensitivity seems higher than vertical, even when at the same value, croshair drifts left or right even when trying to move it straight up or down. Movements feel either jittery and uncontrollable, or sluggish and not precise, no matter what settings are adjusted. This may be off-set somewhat by aim-assist changes, but it also means playing without it in crossplay feels especially bad and hard to manage.

There is also a bug where aim smoothing keeps being set 100, despite personal settings. This happens upon entering the settings screen and loading into a new match.

I don’t say this often or lightly, but please revert the changes to the aiming system. The additional options are appreciated, but these system changes have only brought confusion, frustration and tension to the console side of the community. I appreciate the sentiment of an update towards the console version, but game-feel and aiming was not an area that required adjustment.

Please look into the issue, I find it hard to enjoy the game I love when I struggle to even play it anymore.

Yeah it’s made me pretty upset over the last couple of days. It feels so unbelievably awful. Aaron Keller also acknowledging it on day 1 and not a single update from any level of development is extremely frustrating. If this doesn’t change I may stop playing…which sucks bc Overwatch is literally one of my hobbies.
