I always push the joystick all the way in one direction to move. I’m a plat Lucio player and I want to know any tips with the analog sticks. I would like to know a good way to get used to not pushing the sticks all the way in one direction and keep the stick movement to a minimum. I used to use settings 70/60+ and I switched to 55/55 recently but my movement feels a bit slow.
To move your hero, not their aim?
Sounds like maybe your controller’s too old and has a big dead zone?
If we’re just talking about aim settings, I main Tracer and these work for me:

But I’ve got sensitivity jacked to like 90 now, I think.
Sorry, I meant the character’s aim. And thank you. Ill try them out
First thing you need to do is to switch his jump button to left trigger… so that you can wall-ride and aim at the same time
Sounds like your controller is busted. You might be able to fix it yourself before buying a new one. Youtube is helpful for tutorials.
And tick ”allow backwards wallriding” on from the control options, if you already haven’t.
The aiming in ow console is pretty difficult. I’d love to be able to adjust the middle ”dead zone” spot.
But it’s difficult because compared to most fps games Overwatch is really fast paced and many heroes require rapid movements both horizontally and vertically to react to situations. You also need to be able to track enemies who are far away but also the genji jumping back and forth in your face at the same time. It’s difficult getting those in good balance, what I find to be the best sensitivity for movement with for example junkrat, makes aiming slightly too responsive.
Training ground is your friend. Try changing only 1 thing at once to see how it affects the movement, and see if something feels better.
I’ve noticed that many times the settings that feel good in the training range often end up feeling way too sensitive when actually playing against enemies.
