Consistent Lag Spikes. Not a Qos problem

Hi, I’m having lagging issues. I get frequent consistent lag spikes multiple times per game. They also happen around the same times every round. Usually my latency would be between 30 and 40ms and stay around there, but now it spikes from that to 60 to 80 ms constantly in each game. It’s almost impossible to play this game with the constant lag spikes. I can also run this game without any lag spikes on my pc which is connected to the same internet using wires but the game has constant lag spikes on my laptop using a wireless connection. I also tested my internet speed and quality and found that my internet speed on my laptop is even better than my desktop computer somehow. This might be due to the QOS settings being updated. So these lag spikes started a few days ago and I’ve only had internet issues when trying to play overwatch. I’ve also checked my router settings and QOS settings too. I updated them to maximize the quality of my connection but it only brings the latency down a bit. The lag spikes still happen consistently it’s just that the latency is 20 ms lower than it was before I updated he QOS settings. What other options are there to try? The only thing I can think of is trying to get a new wireless router but I don’t know if that’s the issue. I saw other people are having similar issues with lag spikes recently so I doubt it’s my router now. Any ideas of what I can do to fix this issue?
