I have had this issue for over a year specifically during PvE modes.
I have a fiber connection that I have almost no issues with. When I’m in a PvE mode in Overwatch though, I consistently will drop out of the match around the second or third area of whichever map (stays the same in each map) then once or twice more later on. It kicks me to the title screen where I am unable to enter the queue for any mode, but can navigate around, then after about 30 seconds it will put me back in, usually dead.
I will also have the same disconnection symptoms in PvP, though much less frequent and only while PvE is also in the current version of the game.
What I’ve tried:
Restarting, restarting my routers, flushing my DNS cache, changing DNS servers, refreshing my private IP, resetting winsock data, uninstalling network driver and restarting.
I checked Looking-Glass and here are my results. It seems there is an issue with a hop in the tracert and ping flat out fails. That doesn’t make sense since I almost never have issues except while PvE is live.
