This has been a constant ongoing issue with many people as of a few updates ago, as a streamer and content creator im absolutely floored and dissapointed in the lack of attention blizzard is having towards this clear issue on the servers end. Something has to be looked into,
Basically ill be playing then itll say connecting and then it will turn around and not let me in the game and shut down the server and claim i left the game i can view and read chat and it says failed to connect to server. Then goes ahead and competitive bans me making the game literally unplayable.
For some background, im high plat i have never myself rage quit nor left a competitive match before. I have a good reputation with playing with a whopping 1300 hours with 600 of it being from competitive. My ping ALWAYS sits at 60 ms and doesnt jump often, i am the only one in my house and have the same internet connection and company for 3 years now.
• i am connected via ethernet cable.
• i have gone ahead and rebooted my wifi before hopping on the game.
• i am not connected to a vpn.
• i dont have high drops in ping or changes.
• no one else is on my wifi but me.
• i own a newer ps5 which is NOT overheating.
Seeing as ive had clips of it and it is clearly a server side issue and not on my internet. Ive had multiple friends dc like this randomly all the time. This needs to be looked into honestly before i just quit im not getting on im not putting effort until this is figured out. And im not going to continue to stream this content and promote this game to my community if there are no changes or even ATTEMPTS to be figured out and solved. This is a huge problem and something needs to be implimented or looked at because if i get banned from competitive in a whole im deleteing the game, im gonna promote other games that genuinely take the time to look into it. Clearly this is a server issue and now sitting with a 20 hour ban because of something i cant control and havent done anything for is ridicuclous. Ive spent time and hours in this game and to not be able to work on my competitive rank is dissapointing. Stop gaslighting people and claiming its their wifi when clearly this is a huge issue and a server side issue. Hundreds of other people are having this issue they are just not caring to contact blizzard anymore because clearly all you do is gaslight and claim its our wifi when its clearly something a lot of people are having issues with.
Done with it and this needs to be looked further into and assesed
