we already know that we don’t know:
- how much the premium battle pass costs per season
- if we can buy a season’s premium battle pass with credits you’ve earned through playing
- if you can just buy skins in the premium battle pass directly
- how skins in the item shops are priced (and consequently, what 2000 credits will get us)
we know:
- if you already have legendary edition in your battle.net library you won’t be refunded (the amount LE costs) or given a discount
- you will be given a copy of OW1 LE if you already do not own it, this copy new will come with 5 legendary skins and 5 epic skins
fine.
but what happens if you buy the pack and already have the 5 legendary and 5 epic skins? would you be given the equivalent in credits or loot boxes?

Doesnt seen the legendary edition is factored into the price at all so I wouldnt expect anything for those who already own it

i’m asking about the in game benefits, like the legendary skins that you get with LE. if you already have them, would you get however many credits they’re worth (like 1000c for each legendary you already have)

you are not compensated for that part of the bundle

If you own the skin already you don’t get anything. The only way to get “credits” is through lootboxes(duplicate) or flexing. If they effectively give you the skin and you have it, you just got nothing, if they mention lootbox you would receive one at random insided of it, if you already have you get dup credits.
It’s their pattern for a long time already. If was your question about buying something you own, you just don’t get anything.
that’s what i’m asking. if i already have, like, strike commander morrison would i just get 1000c the next time i get in game?
If is what you want to know. Nope, you just got nothing new if you already own it.

I have confirmed there is no compensation for the Overwatch: Legendary Edition license if you already own Overwatch or all of the skins from that bundle.

It’s almost like the pack is just a way to sell beta access while having an excuse to hide behind when they inevitably get called out on it. “It’s a bonus, not the entire pack!”
