Condense arcade to a single rotating game mode

There is a HUGE oversaturation problem with all the modes available to players resulting in dead game modes while players are spread amongst the more core modes. Arcade is pretty much a joke at this point, and there is absolutely no reason for it to have SEVEN different modes to choose from. Arcade should be a single rotating game mode that changes daily replacing the arcade slot. The majority of the playerbase is not playing low gravity and mirrored deathmatch. By keeping it to a singular mode, we keep the modes around for people who want to play them, and reduce queue times so people can ACTUALLY play those modes instead of sitting in a queue and giving up because the playerbase is so spread. Oh and while we’re at it, put mystery heroes back in the arcade rotation.

Watch the devs not do this for another two years though.

Horrible idea cause not all arcade modes have an equal population. Some like Mirrored FFA are dead, but others like Total Mayhem and regular FFA you can find a game in like 5 minutes, maybe 7 during off-hours. Arcade player count isn’t like heat flowing to get to equilibrium. What’ll end up happening with this idea is that people just won’t play when the mode they want isn’t available, so queue times stay the same while annoying everyone else that wants to play what they like but can’t.

The problem with arcade is there is no fun modes to play. I used to spend a lot of time their when i first brought OW1.

My ideas -

  • Move assault mode to unranked.
  • All Brawls (changes daily) - Charge, High Noon, Super Shimada Bros, This is Illios, We’re All Soldiers Now
  • Deathmatch (changes daily) - Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Mirrored Deathmatch, Hero Gautlet
  • Elimination & Duel (changes daily) - 3v3 Elimination, 3v3 Lockout Elimination, 5v5 Lockout Elimination, 1v1 Mystery Duel, 1v1 Limited Duel
  • Un-named mode (changes daily) - Total Mayhem, No Limits, Low Gravity, CTF, CTF Blitz
  • Classic (changes daily) - 1.0, Sept 2017, Sept 2018, Oct 2020

Rewards - 3 normal lootbox & 1 legendary box (changes weekly).

then get rid of the useless modes with zero population, duh?

It’s time for QUEUE FOR MULTIPLE MODES option.
I would check the games i want to search for in arcade, then press search. It’ll be great.
