Concerns about Quick Play Matchmaking!

Why this quick play feels like comp ? XMWB9Z

I’ve been experiencing some frustration with the matchmaking in Quick Play lately. It seems like I’m constantly being queued against top-tier, heavily stacked teams. I understand that this can happen occasionally, but it feels like it’s every game for me, and it’s getting quite exhausting.

I’m just trying to complete my battle pass and have some fun. Can anyone explain how the wide group matchmaking works? As a solo player, would sticking to solo queue improve my experience, or will I still face these heavily stacked teams?

It seems like I either end up on a team that doesn’t do much or I’m up against a team where I’m almost certain to lose. This has made it really challenging to complete my battle pass.

What modes are you all playing to get these done efficiently? The last three titles especially seem to require a lot of time and effort to farm. Any tips or strategies would be greatly appreciated!

Given how challenging Quick Play matchmaking has been for me, I’m thinking that maybe I should focus on playing Competitive instead.

For those of you who have made the switch, has it been easier to complete battle pass tasks in Competitive play compared to Quick Play?

btw “For the horde” heh. I can tell you from being a former GUILD LEADER in World of warcraft that I ran several guilds with ours in 5 FOR THE HORDE runs, right in a row during PEAK hours back in Wrath of the Lich King. 7pm realm time.

(Off topic) remember doing that in WoW.

I’m not sure what else I need to do. I’m getting hit hard in Quick Play, Open Queue, and Role Queue. It’s becoming really frustrating.

The only place left is Arcade and vs AI…

I don’t mind if we get a balanced team but it is like a flip of a coin.

do you think that is what the issue is peak hours game play.

Interestingly, I had a lot of fun playing over the weekend. It seems like there are more players online, which might be why the experience was better. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe weekends are just a better time to play for a more enjoyable experience.

I saw the name of yours and was referring to the achievement in WoW (With the same name) which gets you the special riding mount if you complete the attack on Darnassus, Stormwind City, Exodar and Iron forge  .

yes i do!

I see a lot of the same mistakes being made in this game, as I do with how people got angry and left World of Warcraft. I kinda thought blizzard woulda learned lessons by now! But here we are, practically 15 YEARS later and they are STILL doing the same thing that got them into trouble the last time!!! :open_mouth: only in Overwatch!

I had a full time guild and I am seeing the history literally repeat itself here. Its just astounding that they are pulling the same nonsense here. Kinda wish they would stop it and let this game thrive again. :frowning:
