Hello, I have an ibuypower pc and a Samsung moniter. When I’m in quick play and arcade my moniter and computer work great. In competitive, MOSTLY in the middle of games, my moniter shuts off completely and I have to restart it. By that time though, i am still able to rejoin but I loose 50 sr. I keep trying to fix the problem and going back to competitive to try it out and it happens again! The monitor turns off or something happens to the game specifically? If the monitor only turned off you wouldn’t be disconnected from the game and you would be able to still hear everything happening, but without the image.
The computer doesn’t seem to be affected but it makes the monitor restart. The comp seems to stay on but yeah I guess not. It’s not just the game it’s the whole thing. I have to re-login to the system and reopen blizzard. But it only happens in competitive which is extremely frustrating. I’ve heard of black screen problems but I think this is different.
Having the exact same issue. Drivers up to date, but when I launch the blizzard client or any of its games my monitor will go black for 10-20 seconds then cycle through inputs and come back on. This is killing me pls help
I’ve been researching and it might be a problem with the graphics card and/or overheating. I think I’m going to get someone to look at my setup to make sure it’s not something stupid. Also, make sure your computer is clean and has little to no dust cause that might cause overheating. Until i get this fixed i guess i’ll stick to custom games and qp.
