if Mauga is that unstoppable, what was brig and bap nerfed out of their original state? doesn’t add up any universe. mindless nerfs create imbalance. i’m not against Mauga being that unstoppable so long as brig and bap are reverted to their original state.
Mauga isn’t that unstoppable. When he was, he got nerfed.
He’s about as unstoppable as most other tanks.

to a watered down brig or bap? certainly unstoppable. irrefutably proving that nerfing brig and bap from their original initial state was a massive miscalculation. bap and brig damage is so water down, zero interest to heal, zero interest to play.

bc bap is strong, idk about brig but its a dive meta rn so she is a nice pick for supports that dont want to be run over by dva or monkey
invalid speculation. not even OW1. evidence all over YT. if you’re bad sure. but if you’re exceptional, not at all. evidence all over YT. Maugu current power level proves that nerfing brig and bap out of their original state was stupid. they do no damage. a support that does little to no damage is useless.
unless they are half health… then, its a fair game.
From what we’ve seen so far the Cardiac Overdrive ability dictates whether he’s easy to kill or the most tanky hero in the game. Right now he’s in a so-so state.
As for Brig and Bap, Bap is in a good spot right now. Brig ironically isn’t doing enough to deal with the ever so dominant Dive meta we’re being plagued with.
Sigma exists. Mau has never been unstoppable, imo. Even when he launched.

Brig is currently a necessary evil to control the demi-god Dva, and Blizzard has some sort of deal that Bap will never be allowed to be bad.
He has been one of the strongest supports since he was launched. He got major power creep buffs when goats and double shield was meta and they weren’t reverted, not even in OW 2

Don’t forget he also got major power creep buffs in the move to 5v5.
Like regen burst becoming an instant doubled hp burst on targets below 50% hp, his damage increased, and his damage falloff increased.
I completely forgot about those used to be 24 dmg a shot right? I think its 25 now which changed a lot of breakpoints. IDK how 24 dmg would change breakpoints w the OW 2 hero health buffs.

Mauga has nothing to do with Bap or Brig, and his current power level has nothing to do with their release states 5+ years ago.

what are you talking about? This isn’t OW1. I’m not talking about the game 5 years ago, I’m talking about the game right now. As for “invalid speculation”… the whole point of the recent gigabuff patch for tanks was exactly so they can’t be 1v1’d by anyone but another tank. Huge skill gaps aside, obviously.
I can’t even begin to understand what you’re saying. Tanks could be 1v1’d in OW1 5 years ago, so the logical conclusion is to buff Bap and Brig? Huh?

bap does no damage on the battlefield. any attempt to do damage is met being swarmed since mindless devs left baps gun load af, but nerf damage reduced from bap original state. nerfed damage makes bap unplayable. loud weapon + nerfed damage = instant endless swarm by opponent. due to LOUDEST WEAKEST weapon on the battlefield. weapon was only as loud as it was bc bap at launch did fair damage. but some idiot dev didn’t reduce weapon loudness even though they reduced weapon damage. unfair af. unplayable af.
OW1 support exceptionals could actually defend against tanks and survive. endless YT video evidence.
Finally, someone else with the correct opinion. It’s like the people here do not even play the game! Imagine that…
