This issue has happened for myself and two friends. I am on the PS4, my friend is on Switch, I’m unsure what console the third friend is on. The first time it occurred, we were loading into a custom game to wait for the competitive match to start, but the match started as we were loading. Instead of the usual auto-canceling of the custom game, it kept me and Friend A in the loading screen where it said “Entering Game”. This gave us a 15 minute suspension. The second time occurred after we picked up a really good tank to five stack with, and he had the same problem. We hadn’t even left the custom game start menu before the game was found, so we assumed all was well, but myself, Friend A, and Friend B all got stuck in the loading screen. Friend B got a 15 minute suspension, but Friend A and I got an hour long suspension.
TL;DR, game froze and suspended us from comp, please fix this devs.
