this is actually insane. Why did you reduced points received and then after 30 “bonus” 100 points, you no longer earn bonus points and earn only 10 per win. WT*?
I literally lost all motivation to play ranked for this reason. Matches going 20-30 min and for a win you get 10 freaking points.

There was a time when people who just played ranked for comp points were the problem. Jeff Kapkap even stated they regretted gold weapons for it.
For that reason, I’m glad you aren’t interested in playing ranked. Play something you enjoy instead

i would play comp more if it felt more rewarding then this.
You spend half matches vs aimboters and you get 10 points per win, if you lucky.
Once i get golden weapons for my favourite heroes i will not step a foot in this cheat infested aimbotter paradise called “competitive”.
If virtual currency is what you deem rewarding… Then yeah, you’re better off out.
what?
By your logic, nothing in-game would be rewarding, as it all fits the definition of “virtual”.
Is Blizzard supposed to mail out checks for achieving a rank or something…? How about a brand new car? What would you consider a suitable reward for playing comp? Becoming a better player? I suppose your retort for that would be that he should have real goals in life instead of becoming good at a video game. A new exclusive skin? “LOL @ chasing virtual goods that are pixels on a screen!”
Its all subjective.
Personally, I don’t find any “reward” in in game currencies in any game.
It’s a video game, so my reward is fun. Am I having fun when playing… If yes, that’s all I need.
If no, I’ll play something else.
I like that the first two are relatively easy, and everything subsequent is a long grind.
I play comp because I like competition. I think it’s cool that having gold/jade weapons on multiple heroes has a touch of exclusivity to it.
I am also glad that people are not overly motivated to enter comp to grind cosmetics. The fewer mindless drones wanting to get carried the better.
