Hey there ! I played competitive last season and reached platinum on all three roles but didn’t receive any competitive credits at the start of season 17. I played through the drive event and got the rewards as intended but not the end of season points. A friend told me they had encountered the same problem after playing in competitive open queue

I don’t see anywhere that they will be giving you comp points like they did in OW1; are you sure that’s still a thing?
About a year ago they STOPPED giving competitive points at the end of each season, and instead replaced that system with the ‘Drive Event’. So you do NOT get end of season comp points anymore.
really ? did they gave us a notification somewhere or like a blog post when it happened ? I don’t remember seeing this anywhere 
Yes, there were many posts, dev talks, dev blogs, and other updates about the change when it was done.
yup! There was a whole dev post and blogs etc. about it on Facebook, Youtube, Twitch, and Twitter as furymk1 said. It was a big thing.
