Competitive points for QP and arcade

Hello Dev team and others,

I have given up on the ranked mode because it is both a terrible competitive environment and it’s not fun. I have been playing quick play a lot more now because it allows me to enjoy the good parts of the game without being frustrated if I lose due to my own performance, my team mates or the team comp. I encourage everyone else to do the same if they feel the same way about ranked like I do. However I feel as though some people join ranked just to get the competitive points for gold guns and don’t care about actually trying because the matchmaker tries to give you a 50% win rate anyway so might as well. I think for this reason qp and arcade should reward Comp points at a reduced rate to keep more casuals out of ranked.

It’s a good idea but unfortunately you won’t get much backing because a lot of primarily comp players view it as their only perk.

What I find exceptionally hilarious is that the a lot of the people who say…

“If you aren’t willing to give your absolute all to every game then you shouldn’t be playing comp.”

… are usually the same people saying…

“If you want golden guns then play comp. Giving points to QP would cheapen them.”
