You didn’t say you were playing the best you can. You said you were intentionally trying to get to a lower rank.

Should someone who wants to be in Silver really be saying that?

Yes because I have played gold long enough. Silver > gold. By the way from what I see of the players who sometimes end up in gold, silver > than platinum and diamond.

This game sucks more the higher the rank you go. Irony but accurate

Yeah, that makes more sense than playing Quick Play.

It does because switching sides is still more fun. Sorry you don’t like it, but comp is straight up for casual play. Unless you believe commercials.

In the meantime, sorry, comp is best played casually and the people who make it suck are the people who take it seriously.

The algorithm that Blizzard uses to group people together makes this game POINTLESS. Like we are literally wasting our time playing this game. It’s fun at times, but ultimately the biggest waste of time. You try to climb and then get hit with a losing streak. You’ll rinse and repeat the process until you’re lucky enough to break through the barrier and then experience it again.

Basically, Blizzard can’t admit it has a terrible system. That doesn’t mean if you’re high rank like master you don’t have skill. From the posts I see of plats and diamonds though, it’s people who traded skill for personality for the most part.

Since the whole MM system actually makes the game less fun, but comp is the best format to play Overwatch in, everyone should play comp as a casual game mode, and use the poor design of certain characters to get them down into the rank they prefer to be.
It’s not my fault that Blizzard can’t balance all its heroes or even half, or like 3/4 of them. I get tired of playing the same 8 meta heroes, and hearing all the hissy fits when I take a characters out of that meta. No healers means 5 people don’t want to win, anyway, and want the last person to carry them.

Take what you want, your rank is not your score in personality for sure, because if it was, the higher you go in rank, the less fun you will have and more awful people you will play with.
