Seriously? It’s a competitive mode and when someone leaves there’s no timer to allow them to return to the match without penalty.
Example: Game was just being played.
Player left, maybe 2 minutes into round 1.
Warning came up that a player has left and it’s ok to leave the match.
2 players instantly leave on the short-handed team.
Disconnected player returned within 15 seconds of their disconnect.
Game is now 4v6 because no timer.
2 more players leave.
2 players remain, including the original disconnect.
Player who disconnected now has a 5 minute suspension and lost 50 SR.
Is this a competitive mode or just a joke mode? If you’re going to label a mode competitive and award competitive points for it, you should at least follow the same rules and punishments as other competitive modes.
More than that, I’m tired of waiting for his 5 minute suspension to be over.

This arcade mode is over in like 4 days, then will never return. Real OQ competitive will likely be different. I hope you enjoyed making that post while waiting out “your friend’s” 5 minute suspension.

This has come up a few times the past days. Apparently this version of OQ uses a ruleset from other comp arcade modes that is more strict when it comes to leaver penalties. People have reported being able to reconnect to and finish games and then still getting a temp ban. I would imagine it’ll change next week when OQ leaves arcade.
As a person who live in 3rd world country disconnect is a normal thing so I only play comp when the internet is really fast like lower than 115 latency in all other times it is 150-3500 Imagine your ping is higher than your sr, the only problem I have when the red squire shown when everything is fine like zarya use her bubble someone attack you but it show you disconnected after 15 sec
